H&M's gigantic new Fifth Avenue flagship opens tomorrow with the usual over-the-top fanfare, which this time, includes a collaboration with artist Jeff Koons. Can't make it to the Whitney? No problem! You can go to H&M instead: an image of Koons' Dog Balloon sculpture is splayed out over the entire storefront, and there's a limited-edition ($49.95) bag for sale with the same depiction.
And of course, they're also giving away freebie gift cards to the first people in line, valued anywhere between $10 and $1000 each. (The party starts at noon, and you can see the Facebook event page here).
As a refresher, the store will house each and every one of H&M's product categories: men's, women's, and children's clothing; activewear; maternity; and more. It will also be the first store in New York to carry the home goods collection, which you can check out ahead of time here.
