We're pretty much halfway through summer, and the outdoor shopping experiences just keep on piling up. Flea Market Betty, Williamsburg's newest addition to the flea scene, debuts on Saturday, July 19th, and New York magazine has the deets on what you'll find there. Spoiler alert: It's pretty Brooklyn.
There aren't too much on vendor specifics yet, but Vint & York sunglasses will be among the clothing and accessories offerings, along with crop tops from Rebellious Flower. There's also a section dedicated to furniture, including "custom farm tables" and knit blankets, which can be pretty popular in this neighborhood.
The magazine also highlights a body & mind shopping section, which will have crystals and soaps made with Dead Sea salt.
Aside from the weekend shopping fare—which also includes a mini food court and a movie projection wall—Flea Market Betty will also be hosting Friday night dance parties with a live DJ and food trucks, like Gorilla Cheese and Andy's Italian Ices.
However, there isn't a start date listed for these fetes in the article nor on the flea's website, which still lists the market's opening date as July 5th.
