Band of Outsiders Soho Is Getting a Momofuku Milk Bar

Band of Outsiders designer Scott Sternberg is a man so devoted to cookies that he started an entire blog documenting his obsession. (Tagline: "If you don't like cookies, you might not have a soul.") Starbucks chocolate chip cookies, Girl Scout cookies, Snickerdoodles—he leaves no baked good uneaten. But Sternberg's favorite cookies are those by Momofuku chef Christina Tosi (sample flavors: cornflake marshmallow, confetti, and blueberries and cream), which is why he's installing a branch of the restaurant group's Milk Bar in his soon-to-open Soho flagship.

It's more of a cookie window than a full-on outpost, which is convenient if you need a compost cookie to combat that 3PM sugar crash, but aren't quite up to browsing blazers. Sternberg and Tosi have a history of partnering on custom cookie flavors tied to his runway shows, so expect to see lots of sweet collaborations when the space officially opens this fall.
