Westfield World Trade Center, one of the major retail properties coming to the Financial District, just announced its most fashion-forward future tenant yet: the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. Though a pop-up shop isn't slated to open until next year, the ongoing partnership will actually kick off this month, when the CFDA announces its annual finalists on-site at Westfield.

The temporary concept shop will follow in 2015 in the mall's impressive Oculus area, highlighting collections from past and present finalists (think: Public School, Jennifer Meyer, and 3.1 Phillip Lim). It'll be right alongside the ever-growing list of confirmed stores—Aritzia, Kiehl's, and Organic Avenue have all signed on, to name but a few).

With the association of Anna Wintour and entourage, it looks like Westfield may have a serious edge in Lower Manhattan's burgeoning retail scene.—Hali Berman
