Like most things in the city's busiest borough, the Manhattan Athletic Club is crossing the East River. The exclusive gym is taking two floors at the top of 388 Bridge Street, one of Brooklyn's tallest residential towers, and is slated to open later this month, according to The Real Deal.
"We are confident that Brooklyn's nearby residential and office communities will benefit greatly from having a health club dedicated to providing them with the highest keel of service," said Gregg Wolpert of the Stahl Organzation, which is developing the property.
Expect the 15,000-square foot facility to have your standard high-end gym amenities, like a cardio area, Pilates equipment, and full-service locker rooms with steam rooms and saunas.
