A Banana Republic Factory Store is headed for 125th Street in Harlem, directly across from the abandoned lot previously home to Mart 125. (No address has been listed yet, but it's right next to the Red Lobster at 261 West 125th Street.) Banana's parent company, Gap Inc., already has another outlet store a few doors away: the Gap Factory Store that's also on 125th Street.
The New York Daily News reports that the 67,000-square-foot space across the street "will soon house three journalism and documentary filmmaking media-related organizations, a Harlem visitors center run by NYC & Co. and ground floor retail that could include a restaurant."
