Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Good news! Racked NY is looking for a full-time associate editor to join our rapidly expanding team. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with a great sense of humor, and should be up to the challenge of a fast-paced, writing-intensive job.
No prior editorial experience is necessary, but a reporter's eye is crucial: we're looking for someone who is obsessed with New York City's shopping scene and has the uncanny ability to identify what's worth our coverage. The position, which is based out of our New York office, will center around sharp, funny, and focused news blogging, with the possibility to grow into larger features.
Interested? See the full job listing here. When applying, please include one paragraph about yourself and one paragraph about your neighborhood's shopping scene in your cover letter. If we like what we see, we'll follow up with a full edit test.
