For those of you looking forward to that other major summer sporting event—the Tour de France—you can gear up in style with Velocio Apparel, a line of women's cycling pieces that launched earlier this year. They're headed to Williamsburg this weekend for a three day pop-up shop called Peddling in Brooklyn and they've got a slate of events going on each day.
Stop by on Friday from 5:30 onwards for summer cocktails, and head back on Saturday morning for coffee and pastries in the morning and complimentary gin and tonics.
On Sunday morning, the Velocio founders will be leading a ride through Central Park, leaving from Cat's Paw on the East Drive at 8am. There'll be a post-ride breakfast back at the pop-up at 9:30am, and they'll wrap up the weekend with an afternoon BBQ.
The shop will be open on Friday from noon through 8pm, Saturday from 9am through 7pm, and Sunday from 9:30am through 5pm.
