Well, it's about time that Dita established roots in New York. The Los Angeles-based eyewear brand has just signed a lease at 273 Lafayette Street, according to the Commercial Observer. The 900-square-foot space will become its East Coast flagship store.
"Dita was targeting a high-traffic neighborhood with young, fashion-conscious urbanites for their first Manhattan store and this beautiful and dramatic space at Lafayette and Prince fits the bill perfectly," said Joshua Strauss of RKF, the firm that handled the lease transaction for Dita.
There's no word on an opening date yet, but Dita will be joining a diverse mix at 273 Lafayette, including a DNA Footwear that opened last month as well as Scotch & Soda.
