The J.Crew Sample Sale Early Word: Plenty of Summer Styles

The J.Crew sample sale kicks off this morning at 10am at 260 Fifth Avenue, and the early word from last night's press preview is that you can wear it all now. Mizhattan writes that there were "TONS of summery items at today's preview. Colorful patterns, bold stripes, playful polka-dots, and floral prints were abundant in the women's apparel section and proved that this was indeed a summer sample sale."

As for women's prices, tops start at $15, pants and skirts start at $25, dresses start at $30, and sweaters start at $35. Prices for shoes begin at $10 for flip-flops and go up to $100 for heels. (Note that men's merch is at the nearby 225 Fifth Avenue location.)

The discount is up to 60% off, so don't expect rock-bottom deals on the more expensive Collection items; however, that doesn't mean there aren't bargains to be had. Stay tuned for our full report from opening day.
