American Apparel may currently be in a public battle with its former CEO, but it's still business as usual for its retail stores. That includes the Upper East Side store relocating a few blocks south, to the corner of 61st Street and Third Avenue inside the Trump Plaza. The new space features 3,500 square feet and a mezzanine level.
The sales associate we spoke at the current location didn't have an exact opening date for the new store, but said that the move is expected to happen in July.
