The North Brooklyn fitness scene is rapidly expanding, and it's about to add three more gyms to its roster. DNAinfo writes that Planet Fitness, Crunch, and New York Sports Club are all headed to the Williamsburg and Greenpoint neighborhoods in the near future—or have already arrived.

If you live in the area and are in need of a new gym right now, New York Sports Club is celebrating its grand opening today at 147 Greenpoint Avenue. Membership at the 16,000-square-foot facility that boasts group fitness classes is $54.99 per month, plus initiation fees.

Crunch is looking to add its fifth Brooklyn location at 825 Manhattan Avenue, where it'll take 20,000 square feet. No word on whether it'll be a Crunch Essential gym like those in Crown Heights and Bushwick, the latter of which has yet to open.

There's currently no sign-up for memberships on the Crunch website, though DNAinfo writes that the gym is offering a promotional rate of $20 down and $10 per month, the same rates as the Bushwick early-bird special.

And lastly, Planet Fitness is looking to make its eighth home in Brooklyn at 282 South Fifth Street, on the first two floors of a new 13-story development. The gym would be open 24 hours a day, and membership rates at other locations start at $10 per month.
