Summer Dresses Are Well Stocked at the Gary Graham Sale

The Gary Graham sample sale started this morning at 11am, and we stopped by the Tribeca store last night for a little preview. As promised, there's plenty of merchandise from past seasons marked down to 90% off retail, with prices starting at just $25. Pieces from the spring 2014 collection are available for 50% off, which is a steep discount compared to other stores that carry the same merchandise.

Among the $25 pieces we found tailored shorts, printed knit tops, button down shirts, and shirt dresses with organza skirts from the more casual line, Anagram. There's also a great selection of $50 deals, like printed shorts, light weight long jackets, asymmetrical charmeuse tunics, and floral silk blouses.

We were happy to see summer dresses well stocked, from gold linen metallic tent dresses for $318 to sleeveless white cotton dresses and metallic slip dresses, both marked down to $190. Most styles are available in a range of sizes, but be sure to ask the sales staff if you don't see your size on the rack.

If you're a fan of Gary Graham's intricate details, there's plenty to choose from, but it's going to cost you. Specialty pieces include patchwork mesh crop tops for $425, billowy sleeve chiffon blouses for $250, mesh with lace slip dresses for $234, and a patchwork leather jacket marked down to $1100. Another standout piece was a black and gold jacquard wrap skirt for $225.

With a pleasant shopping atmosphere and helpful sales staff, we expect the sale to be more civilized than most. In the back of the store there's a large communal fitting room set up with racks and one full length mirror, or if you are more modest, you could wait in line for the single private fitting room.
