- This is my amethyst and tsavorite garnet Delilah ring ($1,748) and also a red spinel that, judging by the way it’s cut, was probably taken out of quite an old piece of jewe
- India has a huge impact on me creatively. When I’m in Jaipur I get so inspired. The architecture, the traditional jewelry, the textiles, the in-your-face rush of the city...for a designer, it’s a totally awesome place to let your imagination run wild.
- This coral necklace (top right) is from the Santo Domingo (also known as Kewa,) Pueblo in New Mexico, and the earrings (next to the necklace on the left) are from Kyrgyzstan. There is also a small bronze Roman ring from the 3rd century B.C. in the mix.
- I love gemstones when they are in the faceted, polished form that you see in most jewelry. But I also think they’re beautiful in the rough crystal habits they occur in naturally. This photo contains some of my favorites: various quartzes, calcite, aquamar
- I love creating one-of-a-kind and custom pieces. Here I combined a coral branch I found in an antique shop with tsavorite garnets and a small rose cut diamond.
