Tie the Knot at the Wythe Hotel's Traveling Pop-Up Chapel

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Starting on June 27th, the Wythe Hotel will open a three-day pop-up chapel on the outdoor roof deck of The Ideas bar, with a special package for engaged couples. For $1,500, you and your new spouse will get an hour long ceremony that can accommodate up to 20 people, an officiant (secular or non-secular), a champagne toast, and a photo of the wedding party to commemorate it all.

The chapel (pictured to the right) isn't just any hut of stained glass: it was created by artist Tom Fruin, and it's traveled all over Europe and the U.S.
