Sweet Candles, Creams, and Dresses at the Tocca Sample Sale

The Tocca sample sale is being held at the label's headquarters in Chelsea, and we checked it out this afternoon. There are a lot of products to pick from, and most items would make great gifts for all the women in your life. Mom, sister, a girl friend and of course, yourself.

Candles and perfumes make up a majority of the stock. Small candles start at $7.50 for one or two for $10. Scents include Montecristo, Tara, Kyoto, Portofino, and more. Large candles are $20. Scents include Guilietta, Bali, Shanghai, Havana, Montauk, Colette, Feu de Touch, and more. Candle travel sets (four mini candles) are $25. The cheapest items at the sale are the $5 soaps (not many left), small hand creams, lotions, and perfume samples.

Other good deals include the Crema da Sogno body cream, which are $7.50 for the testers and $10 for boxed jars. They're velvety, and normally retail for $45.

On top of the beauty products, there are about eight racks of clothes that include jackets, coats, shorts, dresses, skirts, rompers, blouses, camis, pants, leggings, and more. They all range in size, from 0 to 12. Size fours occupy three racks, while sizes 0, 2, 6, 8, 10, and 12 occupy the other five racks.

We especially loved all the delicate silk tops and dresses. The prices aren't cheap, but the quality and fit of might make them worth splurging on. Dresses are all $125, and we spotted this black ribbon dress that was originally $437; this beautifully pleated swan dress (originally $506); and this Pointe dress in navy (also originally $506). This romper priced, also priced at $125, definitely caught our eye.

We also saw this pretty Flower top (originally $241), and these Swan shorts, both for $85. The Caption top in nude is available in almost all sizes.

There's also a box of soft Italian wool sweaters, like this Equity sweater in black, and miscellaneous garments (we found a bra top) to rummage through.

Accessories are by the cashier and include a handful of purple leather crossover bags for $85 and silky pink scarves for $20. There will be no restocking on the clothes, and we saw no childrenswear this time.
