Though J. Crew is now in its fourth year of collaborating with CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists for capsule collections, the retailer is taking it one step further this year with a 24-hour pop-up shop inside their Prince Street store.
Starting Thursday, June 12th, expect to see the likes of Public School, Juan Carlos Obando, and Marc Alary alongside cashmere sweaters and cargo shorts.
Expect to find nineteen pieces from the three brands, with the majority being from top winner Public School. J. Crew directed the labels to design under the theme of indigo, so there's a lot of purply-blue going around. Public School also focused on womenswear, a new addition for them this fall.
"We felt like it was a great idea," Tom Mora, J. Crew's vice president of women's design, told WWD adding that each piece still "feels true" to the brand that created it.
Check out the full offerings on J. Crew's website, where the collection has been on presale for a few weeks. According to Mora, some of the pieces are already "nearly sold out."
