Magazine editors and celebs alike made their way back to the Brooklyn Navy Yard last night for Dior's presentation of its resort 2015 collection, and it seems like it went a lot smoother than when Alexander Wang held his show there during New York Fashion Week.

For one, a giant branded ferry shuttled passengers over the East River—though many decided to take their own car services. Secondly, guests weren't going out of their way to attend the show like they did during Fashion Week, when their schedules were jam-packed with shows back in Manhattan. And, perhaps most importantly, there wasn't a polar vortex or mountains of snow to deal with this time around.

The brand also designed the greenhouse interior quite differently than Wang did. The house enlisted Bureau Betak to construct an entire floor [16.4 feet] north of the ground floor, and accessible via multiple staircases, putting guests at window level" with views of the city skyline, WWD wrote in its review of the show.

"Across from the windowed expanse, a 29.5-foot-high mirrored wall reflected a floor of thousands of LED lights across which floated giant projections of 23 patterned Dior scarves, including an archival riff on the American flag," it added.
