Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Kicking off the celebration for Randall's Island's Frieze Art Fair a day early is Dover Street Market, which is introducing a slew of new products for the occasion. Up first is the latest collection of Prada for Dover Street Market, which has limited quantities of men's jackets in vintage fabrics and painted styles from the spring/summer 2008 collection.

Other notable events include appearances by milliner Stephen Jones—he's launching a fragrance in collaboration with Comme des Garçons, as well as exhibiting archival hats, debuting a selection of new hats for purchase, and screening a short film. Jewelry designer Ana Khouri will also be on hand to display her new pieces on the ground floor.

You can also check out Palace Skateboard's exhibition from the Tate Modern on the second floor, which will be displayed with their new collection for spring/summer 2014 (bonus: there's several styles that are exclusive to DSM).
Designers such as Phoebe English, Lou Dalton, and Sibling have also updated their displays on the fourth floor.

And lastly, Comme des Garçons has new t-shirts and scarves for their Golden Week campaign alongside an installation of a "giant Kewpie." If you're not planning to stop by the art fair this weekend, heading over to DSM sounds like a pretty close second-place idea.
