Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
WILLIAMSBURG—The Brooklyn Flea's biannual Record Fair is back at the East River State Park this Saturday. From 11am through 6pm, stop in to check out more than 50 vendors selling—what else—records, including vintage finds and rare releases. There will be a beer garden serving Dogfish Head Craft Ale and several DJs spinning away the day. If all that music makes you hungry, Smorgasburg is just across the park.
GREENWICH VILLAGE—All weekend long, Lomography is holding a basement sale at their 8th Street store. Though some packaging may be damaged, the products inside are just fine, and they're up to 70% off weekend prices. Feel like testing out your new merch? Join the store for their bike trip along the Hudson River.
NOLITA—Head into Courtshop this Saturday to enjoy 30% off all merchandise from their spring/summer line. They'll also have manicurist Holly Falcone on hand (no pun intended)—get your nails done for free with a $200 purchase, or pay $20 if you're not shopping.
MIDTOWN EAST—When you treat mom to a facial at Graceful Services for Mother's Day, you can also treat yourself for being such a good kid, because all facials buy one, get one free. Already have plans for this weekend? The special is running through Sunday, May 18th.
