For the latest edition of her goop newsletter, life expert Gwyneth Paltrow took a whirlwind tour of New York City—72 hours, she claims—for an update of its must-see places. Earning the stamp of approval in the shopping category are Dover Street Market ("Every nook, cranny, and balcony is lined with some of the most inspiring shopping set dressing in New York City") and the just-opened La Garçonne.

She also gave kudos to Williamsburg indies Joinery and Sharktooth—guess it's time to update that Brooklyn shopping guide.
