Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
South Street Seaport is getting a hefty dose of fashion right now thanks to Dossier, the Brooklyn-based arts and culture publication that's hosting a series of pop-up shops—in stacked shipping containers, no less.
It's being dubbed as Dossier Outpost and will be rotating vendors through the end of September. For June, you can shop Selima Optique, Samantha Pleet, Lila Rice, and several more, plus check out contemporary art in the gallery.
It's part of a whole summer celebration on the stretch of Fulton Street between Water and Front Streets that includes several food trucks and events like movie screenings and free outdoor yoga on Saturday mornings. Interested in shopping? They're open daily from 12pm through 7pm.
