This week, Alexandra Jacobs browsed through none other than Banana Republic at Rockefeller Center, examining its appeal to the tourist crowd that location serves. She breaks down the multiple "collections" the brand now offers, starting with the mysteriously-named Heritage. "Heritage is the most fashionable, so far as I could discern, with zebra-printed 'patio' maxidresses that evoke the best of Diane von Furstenberg, or the lesser-known Malia of Honolulu." [NYT]
