This week, Jon Caramanica stopped by Idol, a new Williamsburg shop run by former Graymarket employees that sells merchandise from Rick Owens and Raf Simons alongside newer labels. "What Idol is doing on this block, in this neighborhood, remains a mystery unsolved. It belongs in the troposphere, in a dystopian sci-fi screenplay, or at the very least in the West Village." [NYT]
