Both freestanding Nars boutiques in the city are below 14th Street, but the third is headed all the way to the Upper East Side. Opening on May 16th, the new store at 971 Madison Avenue will be sleek and shiny, with a floor-to-ceiling glass cube in the center of the store and four makeup stations.
It'll also include a section dedicated to "François' Favorite Things": books, photos, movies, and more handpicked by the brand's founder. Tickets to his private island probably won't be one of them, though.
