The News Showroom sample sale starts today, and runs through Saturday, May 17th. If you like Cheap Monday, you're in luck, because it comprised about one-third of the sale. There are men's and women's racks of jeans, organized by size, for $30. There are also tables of $10 men's and women's denim, and $10 boxes of mostly tees and tanks.

Cheap Monday best buys are $20 for men's outerwear, and $30 for women's chunky knit sweaters. There are also multiple hanging racks of $20 high waisted women's jean shorts. And you can find at least a dozen styles of Cheap Monday women's shoes for $50.

The more dapper part of the men's sections starts off with Tim Coppens, where we found a leather panel bomber jacket for $300, and a leather trim blazer suited for a Bond man for $150.

Public School has lots of jeans starting at $150, chunky knit sweaters with leather elbow patches for $235, and a lot of unique outerwear, like an old school classic leather jacket we found for $860.

Folk has simple tanks for $30, tees for , $40, and $75 button-downs and blazers. In the back are leather belts for $50 and non-leather belts for $40.

There's a handful of suit separates from Officine Generale. Prices were around $350 for jackets and $175 for suit pants. In terms of casual-wear, we found great $250 navy and white striped merino wool sweaters, and a navy leather bomber jacket for $550.

There are amazing men's markdowns from White mountaineering, with sweaters at $40 from $659. Highland had cool printed button downs for $20 from $220, and longjohns for $10.

For the women, Sacai has one rack with springy items, like a $175 nautical scarf print strapless jumpsuit, and a chambray, with red, white, and blue tweed, drop-waist dress for $125.

Clu has multiple racks, with mostly size small cotton tops and dresses. We found $40 tees, $70 simple cotton dresses, and an amazing dress with a mint crochet front and white leather back, for $120. They also had a large $10 bin towards the back.

6397 has a range of chic womenswear, with $75 cinch-waist black pants, $100 boyfriend jeans, $300 chunky knit sweaters, and $200 jean jumpsuits.

There;s a large range of Anniel flats for $40 for leather soled and $30 for rubber soled. Woman by Common Projects shoes are all $125, for everything from sandals to heeled boots.

As for the rest of the accessories, you can find a small selection of mostly $10 jewelry, scarves, and sunglasses in the back.

Some prices are definitely better than others, but the Cheap Monday $10 tables and bins, and the over-90%-off discounts on some of the menswear made this a win for us. There will be a little bit of restocking, but just to fill in sizes (so no new styles). We're told there will be markdowns by the end of the week, on a brand by brand basis. —Jaclyn Carey
