Last week, we learned that Otte was returning to its Williamsburg roots for its 15th anniversary with a pop-up shop—dubbed Otte Pop—on Bedford Avenue. And now there's better news: The location will feature what the brand is calling "exclusive prices" on current season pieces, with most items 30% off retail prices and some as high as 50% off.
"Spring has been very challenging for us," founder and designer Kay Lee told WWD. "We have had such a long winter. We projected much more inventory than last year."
"I want there to be a discount," she continued, saying that she understands the "crowd" that will stop by that location. "We'll start with 30 percent off for the first spring delivery."
As for the store design, Lee told the paper it'll be more simplistic than her other locations. "The store will have a very organic feeling. Nothing is polished white," she said. "I'm really into hanging terrariums."
