Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Eleanor Langston has been the beauty editor at places like Cosmopolitan, Self, and Fitness magazine, but now she's venturing over to the other side. Her new nail salon Paintbox at 17 Crosby Street will open on May 3rd, with 18 manicure stations and a bar where you can sip coffee while your nails dry.

WWD reports that the salon will also include its very own mani cam, or "a custom-built photo box for nails, which allows guests to capture their nails and share via the social media options programmed into the machine." More traditional services include a regular manicure (which'll cost you $35) and gel manicures for $50.

To cater to fashion folks, Langston will offer seasonal collections that are "reminiscent of runway and editorial trends."
