Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
This year's Earth Day windows at Anthropologie stores across the country pay tribute to the monarch butterfly, who's annual migration to warmer climates is in danger of disappearing. Anthro's artists used wood, fabric, and paper to depict the butterflies in the windows (like the ones above from the Rockefeller Center store), which will be up for silent auction. Proceeds of that will benefit the American Forests organization.
