Because apparently last year's Met Ball was teeming with unwanted celebs and rich people, Anna Wintour is tightening the reins this time around. The Hollywood Reporter quotes an unknown source saying, "Anna wants more exclusivity and high fashion," at this year's Charles James celebration.

After all, it's the first year where her name's on the wall, so she has to protect her image. Perhaps that's why she's bumped the ticket prices up by $10,000 to a cool $25K?

Still, it doesn't look like there will be a shortage of familiar faces on the red carpet. Celeb/designer pairings so far include Lupita Nyong'o and Michelle Dockery with Prada, Zoe Saldana with Prabal Gurung, and Taylor Swift with J. Mendel.

Others confirmed to appear include Jessica Chastain, Emilia Clarke, Naomi Watts, Allison Williams, and current cover star Kim Kardashian, who will all have to strictly adhere to the dress code.
