Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

MIDTOWN WEST—Stop by Lord & Taylor tomorrow at 6pm for the unveiling of the Pamella by Pamella Roland dress collection, along with a Q&A between the designer and hunky fashion photographer/The Face host Nigel Barker. Guests get a chance to mingle with the two following the session.

GREENWICH VILLAGE—Jazzed about the Pope meeting the Queen of England? Well, Kikkerland is. All day in store, customers can take pictures with a Queen Elizabeth impersonator while wearing props like a pope hat or a crown. Tea and scones will be served, and shoppers can take "joy rides" around the block in a traditional hackney carriage. One customer can even win a dinner for two at Tea & Sympathy.

MEATPACKING DISTRICT—Be a part of the boys' club on Thursday night when Scoop NYC's men's store celebrates the spring 2014 collection for Goodlife. From 6pm to 8pm, take in the new threads, sip on Peroni beer, enter to win prizes, and check out the vintage rides parked outside from the Classic Car Club Manhattan. You could even save $25 on your ride to or from the event if you're a first-time UBER user using the code SCOOP25—if you have used the on-demand cab service before, use SCOOP15 for a 15% discount.
