The first Michael Kors store in Brooklyn is headed for the Kings Plaza mall, with an opening date scheduled for sometime this spring. While other big-name brands scramble for their piece of Cobble Hill, Kors will set up shop in Mill Basin. The anchors of the mall, which has been open since the 1970s, are Macy's, Best Buy, and Sears.
A look at the directory shows that the store will be the most designer-y of the mall's shops, a direction Kings Plaza says in a press release it's hoping to move toward. In the meantime, if you're looking for an old school mall experience, this is it: they still have an Icing, Claire's and a Spencer's.
