Is the Financial District going for a high-low look these days? Gap will be entering the neighborhood at 170 Broadway, in the retail space at the Marriott Residence Inn, according to The Real Deal. It'll be just a few blocks south of Zara and practically neighbors with Urban Outfitters.
Downtown denizens will soon have a plethora of shopping options available to them between these affordable retailers and the high-end names that are coming to Brookfield Place. In case you need a reminder, the luxe shopping center will include Theory, Hermes, Michael Kors, Calypso, Scoop, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Burberry.
But back to Gap—the store will consist of three floors totaling 19,000 square feet, so it's safe to assume that it'll carry the brand's full range, including GapFit and children and baby options. No word on when they'll open, but we'll keep an eye out.
