Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

A tipster wrote in yesterday to let us know that Partners & Spade on Great Jones Street was unloading its entire store into a big truck. A PR representative for the company confirms the closure, and says that they've relocated to Lafayette Street, but the new office isn't open to the public. Meanwhile, Andy Spade's Sleepy Jones pajama/loungewear line is still operating a temporary store on Bowery, and will remain there through the summer.
