Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Because artists need skin solutions too, Australian-based skincare brand Aesop has popped up inside the storefront for Brooklyn's Invisible Dog Art Center, a converted factory space that holds a gallery and room for 35 artists-in-residence to work.

The storefront has been designed by architect Frida Escobedo and will be open through July. It's the brand's first foray into the borough—they already have seven standalone stores in Manhattan.
