Even though construction of the first phase of Hudson Yards isn't expected to be complete until 2018, perfume brand Bond No. 9 has already created a scent for the mega, mega project. Founder Laurice Rahme told WWD: "When you do a neighborhood that doesn't exist yet, it's so exciting. This is the new fashion center in New York. It is the future of the city."
Based off the scent, Rahme predicts that Hudson Yards will smell like peony buds, Bulgarian rose, lychee, orange flower, iris absolute, white musk, lily of the valley, freesia, and pink peppercorns. The overall fragrance is described as "watery," and will be available on April 1st.
