Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
TRIBECA—Nothing says spring like fresh flowers and even fresher ceramic vases to display them. So stop by Steven Alan Home between 12pm and 4pm tomorrow to check out (and purchase, if you so choose) new creations from ceramics artist Helen Levi and bouquets from James's Daughters Flowers. Oh, and "complimentary libations included."
UPPER WEST SIDE, COBBLE HILL—Oh, if only we could be in two Barneys at once. At the Manhattan locale, meet and shop with designers Jennifer Fisher and Marissa Webb from 3pm through 5pm. Or, if you're in Brooklyn at that time, hang with Pamela Love, the designers behind Brooklyn Tailors, and Reece Solomon of Reece Hudson. We'd suggest flipping a coin to decide where to go.
MURRAY HILL—NYC favorite Ricky's is opening at 367 Third Avenue tomorrow, and they're giving away a bunch of free stuff: complimentary makeovers for all, plus samples and giveaways from brands like MoroccanOil and Murad. The location will also have a Revolver Salon, so you can look fresh before heading to the neighborhood's Dover Street Market.
