Stuff yourself to the gills with macarons today, March 20th—for free. That's right, it's the return of NYC Macaron Day, founded by chef François Payard in 2010 to coincide with the Parisian Jour de Macarons. It couldn't get any simpler: All you need to do is show up to a participating store and say you're there for Macaron Day. And boom—free pastry.

Check out their website at the link below to find participating stores, either in a list or in a handy map form. Some favorites, like Épicerie Boulud, Macaron Parlour, and of course, Francois Payard Bakery, will be doling out the sweets—while supplies last.

And if one (or a dozen) free macarons aren't enough for you, buy more and benefit charity—certain locations will be donating a portion of all proceeds tomorrow to City Harvest, an organization that helps to feed nearly two million hungry New Yorkers every year.
