A light drizzle didn't dampen the enthusiasm at today's Brooklyn Industries super cheap sample sale, which started this morning at 10am. The most inexpensive items at the sale are gender-neutral knit hats and scarves priced at only $5. Everything is half-off the lowest ticketed price, including screen tees ($10), vegan leather handbags and messenger bags ($30), and wool jackets ($40), and women's puffer coats ($50-$70).
Women's Fjord down coats ($50) are on of the biggest sellers. These, along with a sprinkling of BB Dakota army fatigue canvas coats, skim a rear table of lightweight knitwear and cropped, faux leather bombers. A balanced offering of both men's and women's occupies a center table teeming with branded hoodies, banana-yellow men's jeans, and chambray button downs.
Don't forget to peek underneath the tables: Custom-designed large H bags and canvas satchels ($30) sit in boxes directly under your nose. There are also stacks of BK Flat hoodies, cotton cardigans, and colorful khakis—each are $20.
More merch is on the way for tomorrow's wrap-up, and given this week's chilly weather, you'll likely wear your new finds out the door. (We did!) The sale runs until 7pm tonight, and from 10am to 7pm tomorrow at 20 Jay Street in Brooklyn.—Kimberly Colvin
