E-commerce site La Garçonne is making the move from online to brick-and-mortar, starting with a flagship at 465 Greenwich Street in Tribeca. The site carries a really wide range of luxury, contemporary, and emerging designers, including Damir Doma, Carven, J. W. Anderson, Rochas, Proenza Schouler, Marc Jacobs, Margiela, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Vanessa Bruno, Cacharel, and dozens more.
A rep told the Tribeca Citizen that the shop will have a focus on womenswear, and also include men's clothing, home goods, and books. If all goes according to plan, it'll open on May 1st.
Fun fact: the address is just a few blocks away from where Aloha Rag was before it closed this summer. Considering both sites carry a lot of the same designers, it seems like a pretty smart replacement for the neighborhood.
