President Obama made an unannounced pit stop at the Gap store on 42nd Street today, and was photographed checking out more than one sweater. (Seriously, there are photos of him holding up one pink one and one red one, sort of like he's never seen a sweater before.) Both colors would have looked great on him, but he was actually shopping for Michelle, Sasha, and Malia.
The Post reports that Obama "kept it conservative," and was even a little worried about a wardrobe malfunction ("I'm worried the V-neck is going to slip," he said.) According to the White House, he was there "to show his support for Gap Inc.'s decision to increase wages for their US based employees." He also left with a workout shirt for Michelle.
