Last night, Ladurée celebrated the opening of its second New York City location: a macaron shop and full-service restaurant at 398 West Broadway in Soho. To no one's surprise, it's gorgeous: the front room is filled to the brim with colorful pastries and the ceilings are painted with a serene cloudscape. Tables are designed for tea for two or large groups. The champagne was flowing at last night's fête, making it the perfect way to kick off New York Fashion Week.
