This week, Jon Caramanica takes on Berluti, the heritage footwear brand that recently moved to a larger space on Madison Avenue and debuted a ready-to-wear line. Though, like most items in Madison Avenue stores, not every ready-to-wear piece is actually wearable, like an $8,700 inverted shearling jacket. "You can't unwear this coat. It's the sort of coat Rick Ross would wear in the middle of the summer, shirtless underneath, just to prove how resilient he is." [NYT]
