Soho's about to get (yet another) taste of Paris. WWD reports that jewelry designer Aurélie Bidermann is setting up shop stateside at 265 Lafayette Street, and the 700-square-foot space is slated to open in June.
"This street really represents New York for me," the French designer told the paper. Street artist Remed will be decorating at least part of the store, which will be "designed to mimic the living room of a California mansion in the Sixties."
There are currently three retail shops with the same address—essential winter shopping store and Indie38 member In God We Trust, kid's clothing boutique Lilliput, and floral shop Blue Water Flowers (there's also a restaurant there as well). So come late spring, one of them will be gone.
