Yesterday's Steven Alan Fashion Week presentation at Industria Superstudio had one very special surprise: the brand's first line of jewelry. When it hits stores later this year, every stone—clothing, shoes, bags, eyewear, home goods, and now this—in Steven Alan's growing empire will be uncovered.
Our sister site caught up with the man himself, who explained that diving into a jewelry line started with simple shapes that were later produced in precious and semi-precious metals. He adds that the women's fall collection (which is made up of loose knits and chunky sweaters) was inspired by the painter Andrew Wyeth and how cold it is in their design office.
