Kate Middleton, like Queen Elizabeth, has a rainbow of coats—red Alexander McQueen ones, purple tweed designs, swingy green robe styles she only trots out on Saint Patrick's Day. And yet, today—her second day in New York City—she chose a subdued black jacket with white trim for a meetup with Chirlane McCray in Harlem. The city's First Lady, on the other hand, brought her outerwear A-game in a raspberry Nanette Lepore design—the same one she wore to her husband Bill de Blasio's swearing-in ceremony back in January.
Kate. You don't have to wear all black just because you're in New York! Taylor Swift is New York City's Global Welcome Ambassador and she occasionally leaves the house in a cat-print bathrobe.
