Just when we thought Pure Barre was focusing all its energy on a different borough, they turn around and do what we least expected—open in a Manhattan neighborhood where they already have one. Real Estate Weekly reports that the national chain has signed a lease at 412 Columbus Avenue, about 20 blocks north of the studio outside of Columbus Circle. A predicted opening date was not mentioned.
They're not the only fitness boutique that's creeping up the neighborhood: Earlier this fall, SoulCycle announced its newest studio on Broadway between 91st and 92nd Streets, which is just 15 blocks away from its Amsterdam Avenue location.
