In other Williamsburg-is-crazy-expensive news, a 17-property cluster in North Williamsburg is likely to sell for about $80 million, the Real Deal reports. The buildings, located in the rectangle between North 6th and 7th Streets from Berry Street to Kent Avenue, include three corner retail spaces and 300 feet of storefront on North 6th Street.
The stores included in the sale are Gant Rugger at 115 North 6th Street, the now-closed Tops grocery store at 81-89 North 6th Street, A&G Merch at 111 North 6th Street, and the also closed Bikram Yoga Williamsburg at 107 North 7th Street.
Word comes shortly after a stretch of nearby Bedford Avenue retail sites sold for a record-breaking $3,200 per square foot—prices similar to those of Fifth Avenue.
