Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Whether or not you've already headed home for the holidays, now you can get a last-minute glimpse at the season's best holiday window displays—minus the freezing cold and crowds. Last Friday, Google Maps Business View, which allows people to scope out hotels, daycares, and restaurants (don't worry, the businesses have to sign up for it first), launched a tool dedicated entirely to deciding which department store's bonkers holiday windows are best.

Though it only includes Saks, Bloomingdale's, and Macy's, the tool is just as easy as using Google Maps: all you have to do it find the store on Maps and click "See inside," and it'll bring you directly to the windows. Here's a preview:

Bloomingdale's windows involve a helicopter and very dapper giant.

Santa lands on Mars, at Macy's.

Or, you can catch up with an up-close look at the windows here.
