It's really happening—the inevitable march of time, that is. Signifying that this year's New Year's Eve hellscape ball drop will continue as scheduled on the 31st, two seven-foot-tall numerals, "1" and "5", have been spotted in Times Square. Though we can only assume they're part of the "2015," we know for sure that we will be nowhere near said numbers when they actually light up. [Gothamist]
